Agent skills

Last updated

The Spooler agent skills, github.com/spoolersh/ai, teach your coding agent to use Spooler the way these docs describe it.

SkillTeaches
spoolerthe HTTP API and the delivery contract: leases, settles, dedup, delays, failed messages, queue settings, error kinds; every operation with its curl sample
spooler-gothe Go library: the client, its methods, error types and unknown results, iterators and streaming payloads
spooler-clithe CLI: arguments, commands, lease files, output formats, exit codes, scripting patterns

The spooler skill names the other two and says when to use each, so an agent with all three picks the right one for the task at hand.

Installation

Using npx skills

The skills CLI installs them into the current project (-g for every project):

sh
npx skills add spoolersh/ai # all three
npx skills add spoolersh/ai --skill spooler-go # one

In addition to spoolersh/ai, the skills are served from this site under /.well-known/skills/index.json, following the common convention.

Fetching directly

Without the CLI, copy a skill directory into the agent's skills folder – .claude/skills/, .agents/skills/, or the equivalent. The files are plain Markdown:

sh
curl -fsSL https://docs.spooler.sh/.well-known/skills/spooler/SKILL.md

Skill sources

The skills live with the code they describe. spooler-go is in the spooler-go repository and spooler-cli in spooler-cli.

The spooler skill is rendered from the same spec snapshot and plan catalog as the API reference and limits, so every bound it states is the one these pages state. spoolersh/ai mirrors all three from their latest releases and is what this site serves.

Each skill's version is the release it was mirrored from, so an installed copy can be compared with the served one.
